IT’S OUR TURN to share our stories
Changing the disability narrative through lived experience storytelling
Local Wagga Wagga region persons with disability will take to the stage on July 8th at the CSU Playhouse from 3pm to share their stories
Our cast will be sharing stories on stage through song, poetry, dance, art and spoken word. These stories will focus on the lived experience of disability and how it can be used to change the narrative. By bringing these stories to life on stage, we will be able to create a more inclusive and accepting culture that celebrates diversity.
We believe that by sharing these stories we can help to raise awareness about disability and create a more understanding society. We want to show people that everyone has something unique to offer regardless of any perceived limitations or obstacles they may face. Through our performance we hope to inspire others to share their own stories and create a space where everyone is accepted for who they are.
